Carol Turner is a Supervisor with The Family Centre serving children, youth and families and is an oski kawimaw (new mom) to otanisa (her daughter) Emma.
Carol has been gifted with a Ceremonial Cree name – mihko pihêsiw iskwew (Red Thunder Bird Woman) – and has been involved with Indigenous teachings from nehiyaw knowledge keepers. Carol appreciates Indigenous knowledge and ceremonies and understands how culture plays an integral role in collaborating with children and families.
